Most the time, the Petite toy should be offered to the bird in an outside-the-cage environment. This is because they do not hold it with their foot to play with it, but run around with it. If the cage bottom has no grate, and is clean, then of course they may play with it down there. But typically it is played with on your lap, on the couch, on the floor, on the bed... anywhere they can throw it and chase it. | ||
